Access-until and delete-on dates
In short: Access until closes the gallery for the client but keeps everything — you can reopen it any time. Delete gallery on deletes the gallery and its files for good on that day.
Access until
Section titled “Access until”- Open the gallery and click Dates on the left.
- Under Access until, choose Until a date and pick the day. No limit keeps it open.
After that day the client sees Access ended and is asked to contact you. Files stay; nothing is deleted. Shortly before the end the client sees Gallery available until … — save your photos (when downloads are on).
To extend, pick a later date or No limit. The same link and password work again at once.
Delete gallery on
Section titled “Delete gallery on”- In Dates, under Delete gallery on, choose Delete on a date.
- Pick the Deletion date.
On that day the gallery and all its files are deleted for good: this can’t be undone. To cancel, choose Never before the day comes. See Deleting is permanent.
Reminders
Section titled “Reminders”Dates in the service are UTC days: «until 30.11» means through 30.11 23:59 UTC. When 14 days or fewer are left, the gallery shows up in Needs attention on the home page with Extend or Change date. See Home.
A new gallery gets its access term in the New gallery dialog (30 days, 90 days, No limit or a date).
If it didn’t work
Section titled “If it didn’t work”- The date isn’t saved. Until a date and Delete on a date need a date: pick one in the calendar.
