Sections and private sections
In short: sections split a gallery (“Ceremony”, “Party”). The client switches between them at the top of the gallery; All shows everything. A private section is seen only by accesses you allow.
Add a section
Section titled “Add a section”- In the row of sections above the photos (All, then each section with its photo count), click Add section.
- Enter a Name and click Add.
- Click the section in that row, then drag photos onto the upload zone — they go straight into it. Or select photos already uploaded and choose the section in Move to… on the bottom bar.
You can also drag photos from the grid onto a section in the row: they move into it.
To rename, reorder or delete sections, open Photos & sections in the settings on the left: the arrows move a section up or down, Change opens its Name. Delete section keeps the photos: they stay in the gallery, just without a section.
Section covers and descriptions
Section titled “Section covers and descriptions”- Open Photos & sections in the settings on the left.
- Turn on Show section covers: in All, each section then starts with a full-width photo, its title and description.
- Click Change next to a section. Pick a photo from that section, move the focal point, add a Description (optional), up to 200 characters.
- Click Done. No cover leaves just the title and description.
Private sections
Section titled “Private sections”Under Private sections, turn on “… is private” for a section. Then only accesses with the Private sections right see it — not guests, not the ZIP of the whole gallery, not the link preview in messengers. Rights are set per access: see Participant access.
To check, open As the client sees it and pick a person in View as.
In downloads
Section titled “In downloads”In the ZIP of the whole gallery each section is its own folder. The client can also download one section. See What clients can download.
