Participant access: several passwords and permissions

In short: a gallery can have up to 20 accesses. Each is its own 6-digit password with a label and its own rights. You see who opened the gallery and what they picked.

  1. Open the gallery, the Access group, and tap Add access.
  2. Under Start from, pick Client, Family or Guests. A preset only sets the switches below.
  3. Type a Label — a name or a role. The client sees “Hi, Anna”. No phone numbers or emails.
  4. The password is already generated. Tap Generate a new password for another one, or type your own.
  5. Set the Rights and the Term, then tap Create access.
  6. Tap Share on the new card: the link and this password are copied as one message.
  • View — always on.
  • Downloads — originals and ZIP. If downloads are off for the whole gallery, this switch changes nothing.
  • Photo selection — hearts and Finish selection. Limit is soft: going over is allowed, the counter turns grey. Empty means no limit. See Photo selection.
  • Private sections — sees the sections you marked private. See Sections.
  • Reduced photos for selection — only 2048 px, no originals or ZIP. There are no watermarks, so this does not stop screenshots.
  • Term — As the gallery or Until a date. An access never outlives the gallery.

In the client preview next to Access, pick a label in View as. If someone has no Private sections, the preview says how many photos are hidden from them.

Tap ⋯ on the card. A new password signs out only this access — send it again. Revoke stops the password at once; the card stays with its selection and counters. A revoked access can’t be restored — add a new one.

  • “Add access” is greyed out. The gallery has 20 live accesses — revoke one first.
  • “This gallery already has this password”. Passwords within a gallery must differ.
