Participant codes in an open gallery
In short: an Open gallery stays open by the link. A participant code is a 6-digit code for one person: with it they get extra rights — photo selection, private sections — and you see their counters.
Add a code
Section titled “Add a code”- Open the gallery, the Access group. Under Access, Open is selected.
- Under Participant codes, tap Add participant code.
- Fill in the label, the rights and the term the same way as for an access, then tap Create access.
- Tap Share on the card: the message has the link and “Participant code: …”.
A gallery has up to 20 codes and passwords in total.
What the client does
Section titled “What the client does”- Opens the link — the gallery shows as usual.
- Taps I have a code, types the code and taps Sign in with the code.
- Sees “Hi, Anna”, the hearts and the private sections the code allows. Not you? → Sign out goes back to the ordinary view.
Without a code everyone still sees the gallery, just without the extra rights.
Check it
Section titled “Check it”In the client preview pick View as: No code is what everyone with the link sees, a label is what that person sees.
Codes and passwords
Section titled “Codes and passwords”- Password → Open: the gallery password stops working, participant passwords stay as codes.
- Open → Password: codes become participant passwords — without one, nobody gets in.
If it didn’t work
Section titled “If it didn’t work”- The client can’t find the code field. It’s I have a code in the gallery itself.
- The code doesn’t work. Check that the access isn’t revoked or past its term. Typing it wrong too often pauses entry — see Someone tried to guess the password.
